The Client
For more than 100 years, the American Camp Association have joined together as a community of camp professionals to share their knowledge and experience and to ensure the quality of camp programs.
The Challenge
American Camp Association asked us to build a robust and responsive and easy to use Find A Camp web application for Camp Directors, Association administrators, and most importantly, parents.
The Solution
2009 [iS2 Digital] spent 12 months clarifying business requirements and leveraging user and traffic analysis, personas, and user experience development. Fine-tuning and documenting the scope of engagement, [iS2 Digital] successfully adhered to ACA's budget constraints.
2016 [iS2 Digital] redesigned the site to be more intuitive, easier-to-use and mobile-friendly. The improvements in both the user interface and the user experience have been a very welcomed change.
Project Details
- Delivered extensive intensive information architecture, site flow chart, page level wire frames, and functional specifications
- Created intrasystem architecture between tool and Microsoft CRM application
- Developed single sign-on with HTTPS and Volatile Tokens
- Implemented full administration system
- Delivered comprehensive system hardware, software diagrams and recommendations
- Implementation of a robust, custom-built search tool
- Designed a mobile responsive site using Bootstrap's JavaScript framework
